We accept bank transfer, Instapay (for local guests), and cash on arrival. For international guests and bookings made well in advance we prefer bank transfer to confirm the reservation. We do not use credit cards or any third-party payment platform.

We recommend booking at least two weeks ahead during regular seasons, and 4–6 weeks ahead during peak periods (Ramadan, both Eids, national holidays, and summer — July and August). Last-minute bookings are possible but depend on availability.

The minimum stay is 2 nights across all Taskeen apartments in Zamalek and Dokki. For weekly and monthly stays we offer reduced rates — up to 30% off. Contact us for details.

All bookings are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Please confirm your dates carefully before booking. In exceptional cases we try to adjust dates instead of canceling, subject to availability.

No. The quoted price is all-inclusive: electricity, internet, pre-arrival cleaning, and welcome service. There are no platform commissions or extra charges — because you book directly with us, what you see is what you pay.

Zamalek is the first choice for most international visitors and expats — a quiet island on the Nile, close to downtown Cairo, the Opera House, and major museums. Safe, leafy, and full of upscale cafés and restaurants. Dokki is a practical alternative, closer to Cairo University and the metro, with slightly better prices. Taskeen apartments are located in both.

Cairo International Airport is about 30–40 minutes by car from Zamalek and Dokki, depending on traffic. It's roughly 25–30 km. We recommend ordering an Uber on arrival or arranging a private transfer in advance.

The Pyramids of Giza are 25–35 minutes by car from Zamalek and Dokki. The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is right next to the Pyramids. The classic Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square is just 10–15 minutes from Zamalek.

Yes — Zamalek is one of the safest areas in Cairo. It hosts many embassies and international organizations and stays quiet at night. Families, solo female travelers, and foreign tourists move around easily. All our buildings have 24/7 security.

Uber and Careem operate widely across Cairo at reasonable rates. The nearest metro station to Dokki is a 5–10 minute walk. Zamalek is an island and isn't directly served by the metro, but ride-hailing apps are plentiful. We recommend using the apps instead of traditional taxis.

Yes. All apartments have a smart-lock system. We send you the access code a few hours before your arrival, so you can enter any time — day or night — without meeting anyone. Ideal for late arrivals.

Yes — all apartments have fast unlimited Wi-Fi. Speeds are suitable for remote work, video calls, and streaming Netflix.

There is no dedicated parking for Taskeen guests. Street parking and nearby public lots are available subject to availability. For getting around Cairo we strongly recommend Uber or Careem — both are affordable and reliable.

Pre-arrival cleaning is included in the price. Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged for a reasonable fee — message us on WhatsApp to arrange it.

Yes. Our apartments are fully furnished with 2–3 bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, and spacious living areas. We can provide a baby cot or a high chair on request.

We can arrange a private car transfer to and from Cairo International Airport on request for a reasonable fee. We can also help you organize Uber, Careem, or other arrangements — just message us on WhatsApp.

October to April is the best time — mild weather (18–25°C / 64–77°F). November, February, and March are ideal for sightseeing. July and August are hot but prices are lower. Ramadan is a distinctive cultural experience if you want to see Cairo at its most atmospheric.
